My name is Nicola Wolfe and my background is in nursing, education and mental health. I have an MSc. in Mental Health Interventions and a particular interest in cognitive behaviour and positive psychology approaches. I have trained with the British Menopause Society in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for the Management of Hot Flushes and Night Sweats. I have also completed IMPART Level 1 training with the International Menopause Society.

My own perimenopause journey has made me focus on how menopause impacts a woman's health. I believe that we as women need to be fully educated on what perimenopause and menopause involves so that we can be empowered to take proactive steps to optimise our physical and mental health during this stage of our lives. Our health in our mid life years is directly linked with our health as we age and it is for this reason that maintaining our health and wellbeing during our perimenopause and menopausal years is so important.

This stage of life necessitates radical self-care.
